Innovation and design
In 1988 there was another extremely important development. Bodegas Valoria contracted a marketing expert from one of the most important companies of the La Rioja Designation of Origin. Thus, a new era began with the presentation of the Viña Valoria family of wines, in terms of labelling and the bottle itself as characteristics that are still maintained today.
International prize-winners, the labels broke away from the prevailing design at the time. The image of the Greek god Bacchus with two cherubs, framed by two columns has been the mainstay of these labels since then. The bottles used for the whites and rosés are Italian long-necked bottles and, for reds, exceptional bottles adorned with the Valoria seal.
